Special Events
Special events not only raise funds for our organization, they raise friends. They also tell our community about our organization and the important people we serve.
We participate in 2 kinds of events: Signature and Third-Party (see below).
Signature Events
Our Annual Charity Golf Tournament, Fusion: a discovery of local wine and food and our bi-annual Valentine Auction are LCDS Signature events. These events are organized primarily by the Foundation staff with the help of volunteers. Subscribe to the LCDS newsfeed on our main page to receive updates and announcements regarding event details.

Third Party Events
Our Annual Pork BBQ and Christmas Card fundraiser are LCDS Third-Party events. These events are organized by a third party who takes full responsibility for the operation and logistics of the event. We are extremely grateful for the efforts undertaken by Third-Party events coordinators and are happy to support their efforts in smaller capacities (minimal administrative support, marketing, volunteer recruitment).
