Ontario Agencies Supporting Individials with Special Needs is a province-wide association of transfer-payment agencies that seeks to ensure cost-effective, high quality supports and services for people with developmental disabilities, and to facilitate and strengthen the operations of its members.
  OADD
Ontario Association on Developmental Disabilities is a professional organization of people working and studying in the field of developmental disabilities, throughout Ontario. OADD's members include agencies and organizations; university and community college students and instructors; service provider direct care staff and managers; family support workers; case managers; psychologists; social workers; and other dedicated individuals.

Founded in 1966 as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, CARF International is an independent, nonprofit accreditor of human service providers in the areas of aging services, behavioral health, child and youth services, DMEPOS, employment and community services, medical rehabilitation, and opioid treatment programs. The CARF family of organizations currently accredits more than 5,900 providers at more than 19,000 locations on four continents. More than 8.3 million persons of all ages are served annually by CARF-accredited providers.

  Community Living Sarnia-Lambton
Community Living Sarnia-Lambton (CLSL) was first organized 'officially' in 1956 as a non-profit, charitable corporation called the Sarnia & District Association for the Mentally Retarded. It was created in order to provide community-based (non-institutional) opportunities for people with developmental disabilities.

The Respite Learning Portal is devoted to people who are interested in learning more about the world of respite and those already providing respite support who want to access more training, information, and to share ideas and resources. With over 2,500 registrants to date, the Respite Certificate Course and the Respite Care for People with Autism courses are becoming the choice training courses among
respite agencies.
