THE LCDS PORK BBQ RETURNS IN 2012!
We are pleased to announce that there will once again be a Pork BBQ this summer! Thanks to the Petrolia Lions Club, who have partnered with LCDS to coordinate this event, the BBQ will be held at the Greenwood Recreation Centre in Petrolia on Wednesday, July 4, 2012. All proceeds from this year’s BBQ will go toward the Habitat for Humanity/LCDS Petrolia build project. Thanks again to our Petrolia Lions Club!
VALENTINE CHARITY
The 8th Annual Valentine Charity Action, which took place on February 4th, 2012, was also extremely successful again this year, raising over $42,000! Much gratitude goes to Clare Hyatt, Janet Smith and the rest of the Planning committee who’s tireless efforts were what brought this bi-annual event together so well for yet another year. Many thanks to our lead sponsor, Motion Specialties, and to the rest of our sponsors, donors and volunteers for their generosity.
